Intro

To be honest I never was into or really understood blogs. I knew it was something that almost all my friends were doing but I've never been the type to just go along with what everyone else was doing. So I have stayed away from the "world" of blogs for my last 24 years. 
My thought was "What do I have to write about that anyone would care to read?" Sure it's fun to read friends post on Facebook and what not but a whole Blog about just me? Boring!
Up until seven months ago when a little white stick told me I was going to be a mother. 
First I was shocked. Sure we had been trying to conceive a "spawn" but I never thought it was going to happen that fast (the first month we tried). But then like every other woman in my position I starting thinking about everything I needed to do and how much this baby was going to change my life. Which scared the living hell out of me!
Was I going to become one of those people that eat, sleep, walk, talk baby? I made a promise to myself and my husband, I would not.
Being the first of my close friends to step into the world of motherhood I might be taking this "don't become a soccer mom" thing too far but I really don't want to loose who I am. There are woman who do it and I have every intention to become one of those women.
